Why does iTunes only download three podcasts at a time? Why isn't iTunes P2P?

Am I missing something or shouldn't I be able to set the number of simultaneous downloads on iTunes? Three is fine if you're downloading a couple of podcasts a day, but I have like 50 podcasts I'm subscribed to and sometimes I have to download like 20-30 things.

Also, shouldn't iTunes build in some P2P software from Red Swoosh and let you download podcats from peers!? That would make the system so much faster--right?!

NOTE: I'm talking about SIMULTANEOUS downloads--as in the number of concurrent downloads--not the number of queued downloads.

Dave Winer (above), Peter Rojas (below, left with Walt Mossberg at CES) and I did a quick call last night about making a podcasting device.

We used Skype and HotRecorder and it worked really, really well (after I got it setup). It records in stereo really nice... sounds like we're in the same room.

Dave was in a very animated mood. The show starts at 2:49 minutes in... the first two minutes are Dave ranting about Yahoo TV.

Here's the MP3 file

iPhone video / Peter Rojas press tour...

Feels like every time I turn on TV Peter is there....

Just stumbled on this one...
.... and this one (on some show called Wallstrip):

Best DRM cracking software for iTunes/iPod on Windows?

If I had like five computers and six ipods--let's say--and I need to get songs I *paid* for off one and on to the others what software could I buy to do this?

I can't believe that I've bought over 10 ipods in my life, and spents thousands on music, only to have to jump through hoops to move my music around--it's a disaster. This DRM stuff hurts the best paying cusomters most... I wish Steve Jobs would just un-DRM the whole darn thing and let me move my music around.

I just want to back stuff up and I'm finding when I turn off my old comuters and move my iPods around the whole library is out of synch. Ugh, ugh, ugh... I hate you ipod. Well, I love you when you work... I just hate you for all this DRM stuff!
