2. Hi, Jason.
I've got a bit of feedback on the caching at Mahalo. For a long while now, I've been having problems with the login system.
Let's say I'm on the Mahalo "Twitter" page (mahalo.com/twitter) and want to recommend a link. It takes me to the login page, I login, it says "Successfully logged in", and redirects me back to /Twitter. However, it doesn't show me as logged in. Even after a hard refresh, it still shows me as not logged in on that page I was on when I was taken to the login page. It keeps asking me, if I try to submit a link to that page.
The simple solution was to go directly to the home page (where it recognized that I was indeed logged in), log out, and log back in, then return to /Twitter. This obviously isn't ideal.
This isn't just recently, either. It's been happening for months now. I tried mentioning it to @mahalotodo on twitter, but I suppose you guys didn't notice it.
This might be an issue with my web browser, or it might have to do with the caching you guys are doing. Just for your reference, I'm having this problem on Safari 3.1.x on Leopard, with everything enabled (javascript, flash, etc).
By the way, longer guide notes really add a lot more value onto Mahalo. Nice work!

3. Chris...
You're right, that is hardly ideal. If you'd be willing to email me (chris [at] mahalo [dot] com), I'd be more than happy to try to work out what's happening and how we can fix it.
Thanks!
