Alexa finally has a toolbar for Firefox.... wow, that only took five years! :-)
Thank you Alexa Gods!

5. It doesn't work with the current version of FF, but I've used these directions to make older plugins work with the new version.

This is not for the faint of heart, there's a good chance it will break things...
6. I've been using the excellent Firefox plugin SearchStatus, which shows Alexa rank and PageRank for quite some time now.

7. I use the extension Searchstatus too, and it is good for seeing rankings etc. But having an official toolbar available is nice, as it means that the Firefox visits get counted by Alexa from now on. Thanks for the tip, I had given up a long time ago actually... :)
8. now only if alexa was accurate!!!

9. Data from Search Status has always counted towards Alexa ratings.
Honestly the Alexa toolbar is a downgrade from Searchstatus

10. Alexa is a bunch of crap. The new top dog seems to be Compete (http://www.compete.com), who have their own Firefox toolbar (http://toolbar.compete.com). They are getting a lot of buzz lately, and their metrics appear to be much more realistic.
