Twitter on fire...
My number of "follower" -- aka people who get my short SMS messages on their phones -- has exploded to 360!
If you want to get the short messages I send between blog posts here on your phone or the web my Twitter page is:

( Yes, this is the start of something big. Soon Twitter will carry video, audio, and photos... when that happens Twitter replaces IM and email and flickr 50% of the time).

(Page 1 of 1)3. Jason,
You really want to go on record as saying Twitter is going to replace ONE HALF of all IM conversations, email, and flickr usage??? You so sure about that? I'll take, say, any wager you want to make that that doesn't happen in my lifetime...

4. Jason,
twitter already carries images via twapper.

How many followers do you think Paris Hilton could have? And how many of them would pay...
5. As per your twitter entry:
"My blackberry is now worthless... Woke up to 200 twitters--cant find "real" emails!!!!"
I'm still not sure I understand how any of this is useful. I don't use a Blackberry, but I have the option of keeping an IM client running on my phone. There aren't that many people on Earth that I'd like to track constantly or that I'd want tracking me. I don't even leave IM clients running all the time on my PC because it's too distracting.
Isn't this just one more example of distancing ourselves from people all around us while cultivating an artificial "closeness" to semi-anonymous entities on a gadget?
The "good" thing about these online relationships I guess is that they are just as easily terminated as they are established. Maybe that's why we are drawn to them in this impersonal age.
6. I was there first hand at SxSW and it was definitely the darling of the ball. If you were not Twittering, then there was something wrong. I mean even the panelists were Twittering while they were up on stage.
BTW, met your sister-in-law at SxSW, sat next to her in the Matt Mullenweg preso.

An Introduction to Dropshipping from fashionhause.com.
Dropshipping is an order fulfilment service. It provides people with the opportunity to sell goods without holding any stock, having storage facilities or buying in bulk. This is ideal if you want to start your own home based business on a low budget! We are here to help you get started by offering a range of products including rolex watches, chanel bags and, of course, a dropshipping service.
Dropshipping creates a positive cash-flow situation:
You don't have to buy goods until after you've made a sale - meaning there really is 'nothing to lose'.
An Example
Lets suppose you choose to sell a rolex (RRP £194.99) and the dropshipper charges £142.50 + £7.50 postage. You might promote this item on your web-site (or online auction etc) for £94.99 with FREE POSTAGE. When you make a sale and collect payment forward the order details and payment (£150) to the dropshipper who then packages and despatches the order to your customer.
In the above example you would have made £44.99 profit from an item costing you £150. Don't forget the added bonus of not paying for anything until after you have made a sale. It's not like you ever risked losing £150 if you were unable to sell the item!
Businesses on the Internet use all types of different pricing structures and dropshippers are no different. You might choose to offer free postage as in the above example or maybe you will pass the postage fee onto your customers - it's up to you! Maybe you will sell at the handbags or occasionally run special offers etc, again - it's up to you! Dropshippers provide you with the opportunity to start your own business but don't tell you how to run your business giving you much more freedom than affiliate schemes etc.

1. One of the things I always loved about dave winer's blog is that he doesn't have titles for all his posts. Tried doing that in wordpress and it just doesn't work right.
Dave has many 1 line posts .... its a twitter kind of useage. ..yeah yeah... I know twitter's success is more than just about the 1 line posts (its that IM/SMS integration).
BTW ... .great to see the production values on the videocast going up. Here's a couple of ideas:
1) get some lapel mics ... they are not expensive and that's how the pros do it ... those mics you have now might suit radio type stuff... but not good for video.
2) NEVER have a light source behind you! (you did that on the google chat one)
3) get one or 2 decent video lights ....
4) get one of those sunlight reflectors incase you want to do a gig outside (they are cool to play with)
I like the overlays.... if you look at TV, they usually only pop up the image of the person talking _after_ they have started talking. I noticed you were popping up the photo of the person talking just before they started talking (felt a bit strange).
Have a go at a blue screen! (I use blue sheets... green wors too) ... its actually very easy... most video software will allow you to replace the blue/green with an other video...then you can place any image/video behind you (and there's heaps of fun stuff to play around with doing that)
