7. Ben: It was my choice to leave. As the NYT reported, I was planning on moving on already and Miller leaving just pushed up the timeline for me.

I wanted to put a year into AOL and see how far I could take it. It's now exactly a year and I'm excited about how far we took everything. Netscape is growing again, WIN is now an eight figure a year business, and Blogsmith is the best piece of technology inside TW/AOL.

I'm sure I'll figure out something to do.

8. Jeez, some of these comments sound like an obituary! Can't wait for the the Gillmor Gang. Please, Jason, beg Steve to post the unedited file asap. I don't want to wait until Monday.

How's this for a next move: Jason joins up with Mike Arrington at TechCrunch, and hires Peter Rojas away from AOL to run CrunchGear. Just a thought... ;-)

10. Jason, depressing news as you were at least someone with a clue at AOL on how to push them out of the access business into something with content that say, someone might actually want to look at. I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors and I'm sure I'll be able to read all about them here as you are so open to audience here.

Oh, and I predict the next podcast will be the highest rated CalacanisCast (beta) ever ;)
