3. Me too! I removed the 8088 proc in it and replaced it with an NEC V20 for some extra juice... I also had the TECRAM 2nd floppy drive, and the 640k upgrade board. I loved me some Kings Quest... :D

I remember when you and I first got these, we tore them apart with the Norton Technical Reference Manual. I recently came across some old sidebuses and the huge 5mb HD! Wow, I loved that thing.

6. I OWNED THAT COMPUTER ALSO...i got it was for my 13 th b'day.........the problem came when i went to get programs (games, spead sheets....) it will run on an ibm compuiter...BUT NOT A PCjr...soon after that, I heard IBM will no longer make pcjrs

8. I think that everybody had such a computer and, of course, I had one too. It is very funny seeing that picture here and looking at my new laptop in the same time.

1. Wow, Jason, this was my first computer, too! Of course, it was already many years obsolete when I got it, and I moved up to a Gateway 486/DX2 soon after, but I have fond memories of that hunk of junk. I had the extended memory sidecar, but no modem.
