(Page 1 of 1)2. Yeah, I am a fan too. I like the idea of submitting stories that aren't necessarily tech related. I've been finding that people like reading short, offbeat, human interest stuff too. It's what makes the world go 'round.

3. Congrats!! Did you come out of beta ahead of schedule? I thought the changeover wasn't going to occur until next week for some reason.

4. Congruatlations on getting out of Beta. What's the outlook on SNS integration or is the new Netscape breaking free of that?

5. Does anyone else not like this new format. It takes longer to load, leads me on wild goose chases and reads more like a disorganized rambling then an concise web page. Plus, the links are often misleading.

6. It's like watching a train wreck in progress. What's with voting on the news stories - who cares about that. Just gimme the hotest, latest breaking news without having to scroll thru 7-8 pages to see them all - ugh...... Have now switched to MSNBC as my home page.

7. Guess I'll look for a new browser. This one is ridiculous. Takes too long to load and too much stuff to scroll through.

8. How many votes does it take to get to the frontpage? Digg is something like 30, no?

9. Absolutely awful. Will switch to a new home page.

10.
This is awful!! Agree with doug and Ben--the voting is silly and very disorganized. Will remove as homepage and go to MSN.

11. There was a lot more offered in the way of reading, and fun on the old site... I don't think we all need to see what articles are great by people's votes, I think it would be better to see how many "hits" the sites get. What if you don't vote? Or can the same person vote more than once?
I think the voting thing is about as accurate as the American Idol results...
I see a future of a new home page coming to a computer right next to you soon!
And they had to add servers to support this crap?!? Ouht, oh, it might be time for a new administrator don't you think?
Who comes up with ideas for "simplifying a website" and taking away all the fun options it used to have?
is this like one of those strange websites that shadow the real site, like when people try to rip off a bank using a fake site - to resemble the real one?
I don't see a bright future for this site, if it continues the way it is... and "that's all I'm going to say about that..."

12. Many times change is good, yet there are those times when why fix something if its not broken? The new format is more troublesome than anything. It is a maze of tidbits I don't necessarily need to embark upon. I liked the former format as everthing was within an easy mouse click reach.

13. I liked the old browser better, that's why I stayed with netscape.I don't know where I am with this .I'm not interested in votes, blogs or whatever.I want info that I understand and can use. guess I'll have to go back to IE.

14. Having migrated from Mosaic to the first cut of Netscape ages ago, and been a faithful advocate ever since, I never thought I'd see the day when I said goodbye to what once was a wonderful interface, but sadly that sorry day has arrived. Whatever party was held to come up with this so-called "new" browser should have offered non-alcoholic beverages only. This kluge resembles a montage created in nursery school.
